Scholarships

We believe that helping Early Childhood professionals reach their educational goals is of paramount importance to ensuring that our preschool children are ready for kindergarten. To assist educators in reaching these educational goals, the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County, Inc. has partnered with the St. Petersburg College Foundation in the STEP UP Scholarship program. STEP UP Scholarships are available to all Early Childhood professionals in Pinellas County who are interested in pursuing an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education at St. Petersburg College.

Since its inception in 2006, the STEP UP Scholarship program has assisted over 300 Early Childhood professionals to attend early childhood courses at St. Petersburg College.

The Coalition is now accepting applications for Fall Session STEP UP Scholarships. Applications are due back no later than July 12, 2013 at 5:00 PM. STEP UP Application
